We are looking for people with a can-do attitude to add to our Manager Team.  As a manager, you will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Our business is primarily a distillery tasting room with a kitchen so having craft cocktail experience and/or an extensive spirits knowledge essential. Manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient bar/restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers, balance seating capacity and manage costs.   As a manager you’ll be responsible to help hire and train qualified bartenders, wait staff, and cooks.  As a manager you'll set work schedules, oversee bar and food prep and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations. We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments and train staff to promote our commitment to quality. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

· Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
· Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
· Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
· Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
· Organize and supervise shifts
· Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
· Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
· Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
· Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
· Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
· Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
· Promote the brand in the local community
· Recommend ways to reach a broader audience
· Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices and specifics about our products.
· Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Job Requirements:
· Enthusiasm and can-do attitude

· Proven work experience in a bar or restaurant setting
· Proven customer service experience (management experience preferred but not necessary)
· Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
· Familiarity with restaurant management software
· Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
· Acute financial management skills
· A strong beverage background, understanding of craft cocktails, different spirits and the ability to teach others about beverage.

We are currently accepting resumes for a kitchen role. Must be willing to work nights and weekends. The ideal candidate will have certification in food safety, able to execute consistent and high quality dishes. Experience working in a kitchen, reducing food waste, creating efficiencies, a commitment to quality. Prefer someone who communicates well with wait staff and bartenders and willing to do other jobs as they are needed in the restaurant. 21+ only please. We have a tip pooling policy so cook wages tend to be higher than most of the county.

Events / Brand Ambassador

Are you enthusiastic with great energy? Can you plan events and grow a brand?  We are currently accepting resumes for an events / brand ambassador.  Candidates must have prior business experience coordinating and setting up events. In this role, you will be responsible for seeking out and executing promotional events and using social media to promote them.  These events will be ones that draw people into our Frisco tasting room, attract people to our products, and earn product placements in Summit County restaurants, bars, and liquor stores.  You will be responsibility for setting up and hosting regular events in our tasting room (2-3 a week), Summit County, and occasionally Denver.  In this role you will develop and maintain relationships with bar and restaurant management/bartenders and liquor stores that carry our products.  You must also be open to doing some bartending.  The ideal candidate is 21+ years of age,  have transportation, an outgoing personality, and knowledge/enthusiasm for the craft beer/spirits industry.

Job Requirements:
• 40+ hours/week
• 21+ years of age for liquor handling 
• Proficiency promoting events on social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc)
• Must be able to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends

• Plan/promote tasting room events through both online social media and traditional marketing
• Find Summit County tasting events in which Rising Sun Distillery can participate
• Assist and run off-site tasting events in Summit County (and occasionally in Denver)
• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, wholesaler partner, and staff, management/bartenders at both on/off-premise accounts
• Drive spirits and tasting room supplies between Denver/Summit County

• Bartend in tasting room

• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance
