GENERAL MANAGER

We are looking for a Bar/Restaurant Manager to lead all aspects of our business. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service. Our business is primarily a distillery tasting room with a kitchen so having craft cocktail experience and/or an extensive spirits knowledge essential. Bar/Restaurant manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient bar/restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers, balance seating capacity and manage costs. Back of the house management experience is also essential, as you’ll hire and train qualified cooks and wait staff, set work schedules, oversee food prep and make sure we comply with health and safety restaurant regulations. We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments and train staff to promote our commitment to quality. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

Responsibilities
· Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
· Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
· Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
· Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
· Organize and supervise shifts
· Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
· Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
· Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
· Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
· Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
· Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
· Promote the brand in the local community
· Recommend ways to reach a broader audience
· Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices and specifics about our products.
· Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Requirements
· Proven work experience as a Bar or Restaurant Manager, Bar or Restaurant General Manager, hospitality manager or similar role
· Proven customer service experience as a manager
· Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
· Familiarity with restaurant management software
· Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
· Acute financial management skills
· A strong beverage background, understanding of craft cocktails, different spirits and the ability to teach others about beverage.

BARTENDER/SERVER

We are currently accepting resumes for a bar-tending role. Candidates need to be self-motivated, able to work independently and customer service-oriented. In this position, you will be selling Rising Sun Distillery spirits and promoting the brand in our Frisco distillery tasting room.  The ideal candidate is 21+ years of age, TIPS certified, must be able to work weekends,  have a background in craft cocktails or craft spirits and experience bartending in a craft cocktail bar. 


Job Requirements:
•21+ years of age for liquor handling 

•Must be able to work weekends and as needed

•Craft cocktail bar-tending experience
•Friendly and outgoing
•Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance
•Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
•Able to lift 50lbs

 

KITCHEN

We are currently accepting resumes for a kitchen role. Candidates must have prior experience handling, prepping, and preparing meals in a sit-down or fast-casual environment.  The ideal candidate is 21+ years of age, able to work weekends and odd shifts.
